Summer Knitting Camps!
This summer we will be offering knitting camps during the week of June 14 – 18.
Learn to Knit Camp (9:00am – 12:00pm)
This camp is for new knitters (or kids who have minimal experience with knitting) entering grades 3-5. During this morning session, kids will learn basic knitting skills: casting on, knitting, purling, binding off, garter and stockinette stitch. We’ll enjoy other fun activities along with all our knitting.
I Know How to Knit Camp (1:00pm – 4:00pm)
This camp is for kids who already have experience with casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off. This session is for kids entering grades 4-7. We will explore new knitting techniques, patterns and ideas, along with other fun activities.
Please call 873-0004 if you have any questions about which level is appropriate for your child. Depending on knitting experience, we can be flexible with age! To register, complete the form below and return to the Village Yarn Shop. Camp sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and enrollment is limited to 8 campers per session so we can provide the best quality experience.
A deposit of $75 is due with your registration to hold your child’s spot. The balance of $50 will be due on the first day of camp. All supplies and snacks are included in the fee.
